A Fresh New Addition to Wanamingo!
Security State Bank of Wanamingo is excited to shine our Community Spotlight on a new local business, bringing a much-needed service right here to our community — Wanamingo’s new “Wannawash & Dry Laundromat!”
Conveniently located next to J.B.’s Tavern, the laundromat offers residents a local and easy option for taking care of everything from everyday laundry to those bulky blankets and comforters.
The laundromat features four large-capacity washing machines and four large-capacity dryers, along with an extra-large washer and dryer capable of handling up to 40 pounds of laundry in a single load. That extra capacity makes it a great option for large families, bedding, blankets, comforters, and other oversized items.
Machines are quarter-operated, with standard loads costing $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. An ATM is available on-site for added convenience, making it easy to get cash and change when needed.
Don’t Have Time to Do the Laundry Yourself?
A full-service laundry option is also available! Customers can drop off their laundry to be washed and dried for them. Simply weigh your laundry, place it in a bag in the designated tub in the back room, and complete a tag with your name, address, and phone number. You’ll receive a call when your clean laundry is ready, typically within a couple of days, to arrange a pickup time.
Laundry Day Made a Little More Enjoyable
One of the best parts about the location is what’s right next door! While your laundry is washing and drying, stop into J.B.’s Tavern for a meal, grab something to go, or relax with a cocktail and visit with friends.
It’s another great example of how local businesses can make everyday life a little more convenient while keeping people right here in our community.
